Our Organic Merino Wool comes from over 100 family farms in Argentina's Chubut region, each spanning thousands of acres. These arid farms have about 1 sheep per 3 acres, raised to organic standards regulated by the US Organic Rule. We prioritize understanding our farmers' financial health, embodying real fair trade.
Processing wool into socks is detailed, and we oversee each step. We source our Organic Merino Wool from a specialized top-maker, helping to develop the first certified, eco-friendly, washable wool for socks. Certified by GOTS, the high-quality, soft socks wash and dry well. Wash them inside out to keep them soft.
The spinning of our Organic Wool for Killington's highlights American ingenuity. We deliver prepared wool tops to a 200-year-old North American plant near Boston, renowned for craftsmanship. Run by three brothers, their quality remains unmatched. Respecting traditional technology and artisans is what we call real fair trade.
